1. Definitions
1.1. "Company", "we", "us" — services are provided by a registered company with number 12101959, whose registered office is at 2 Thomas More St, London, United Kingdom, E1W 1WY.
1.2. "Service" — the websites available at leakcheck.io and leakcheck.net, the API, and the Telegram bot, which return, upon request, information from publicly available sources about data leaks that have occurred on third-party resources.
1.3. "User", "you" — an individual acting in a personal capacity or on behalf of a legal entity who accesses or uses the Service.
1.4. "Leak" — an incident where data was exposed, published or otherwise made available outside the resource that originally held it, due to insufficient access controls, security failures or the actions of third parties.
1.5. "Account" — the personal profile created by the User to access paid or extended functions of the Service.
2. Acceptance & Eligibility
2.1. By using the Service or any of its functions, you accept these Terms in full and without reservation, together with any additional terms shown in the Service interface.
2.2. You may only create an Account and use the Service if you have reached the age of legal capacity under the law applicable to you.
2.3. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. The Service
3.1. The Service aggregates information about data leaks from publicly available sources and lets you check whether an identifier (such as an email address, username, phone number, hash or domain) appears in that data.
3.2. The Service is an informational and security-awareness tool. We do not create, cause or endorse any leak, and the presence of data in our database does not imply any wrongdoing by the person to whom it relates.
3.3. You are aware that we are not under any contractual or statutory obligation to delete or restrict access to information displayed in search results, save as set out in Section 12 (Data Removal) and as required by applicable law.
4. Accounts
4.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and API keys and for all activity that occurs under them.
4.2. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your Account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
4.3. Deleted Accounts cannot be reactivated or restored.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1. Accounts and Plans are provided for your own use and may not be leased, sublicensed, sold, assigned, shared or otherwise transferred to third parties.
5.2. You must not use the Service to violate the security or integrity of any network, system, software or device, including through malware or unauthorised access.
5.3. You must not use the Service to: stalk, harass, dox, defraud or harm any person; collect or disclose third-party personal data without a lawful basis; interfere with the operation of the Service; infringe intellectual property rights; or resell or redistribute access to the Service or its data.
5.4. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service and of any information obtained through it complies with all laws applicable to you.
5.5. We may unilaterally determine the severity of any violation and suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, in the event of any breach of these Terms.
6. Plans, Billing & Refunds
6.1. At our discretion, the Service may provide limited information about Leaks free of charge.
6.2. We currently offer the following Plans, each billed on its own cycle:
- Basic Plan — a limited number of requests (15 per day), search by email address only. Billed daily.
- Monthly Plan — search by email, username, phone number and keyword (200 requests per day). Billed monthly.
- Lifetime Plan — the criteria of the Monthly Plan (400 requests per day) for a one-time payment.
- Enterprise Plan — search by email, phone, username, domain, origin and password (up to 1M requests per day), plus reverse search, Bulk Check and info-stealer log search. Billed quarterly or annually.
6.3. Subscription Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and the fee is charged automatically, until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The Lifetime Plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Plans purchased with cryptocurrency do not renew automatically and simply end at the close of the paid period, with no further charges.
6.4. Because access to the Service is intangible and takes effect immediately, we do not provide refunds after payment, including for unused requests, unexpired periods, or where you change or cancel a Plan.
6.5. If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel a contract for digital services within 14 days. By purchasing a Plan you expressly request immediate access to the Service and acknowledge that, once access is provided, you lose that statutory cancellation right to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this Section affects statutory rights that cannot be waived.
7. API & Bulk Check
7.1. The API is provided subject to your Plan limits and is rate-limited to 3 (three) requests per second by default. Higher limits may be made available on request.
7.2. The Bulk Check feature is limited to 100,000 lines per file and 500,000 lines per day.
7.3. You must not circumvent, disable or exceed technical limits, or use automated means to access the Service beyond your Plan.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1. The Service, including its software, interface, structure, text and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you.
8.2. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or create derivative works except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
9. Disclaimers
9.1. The Service and all information provided through it are supplied "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the information is accurate, complete, current or relevant, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9.2. We may carry out maintenance or improvement works that temporarily make the Service wholly or partly unavailable.
9.3. You assume all risks associated with the use of the Service and any information obtained through it.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
10.2. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
11. Indemnification
11.1. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
12. Data Removal
12.1. You may request that data relating to you be made unsearchable on the Service. Removal makes the data unsearchable through LeakCheck but does not remove it from the original source from which it was obtained.
12.2. Removal requests are handled according to the identifier concerned. Full instructions are available in our Data removal guide.
13. Privacy
13.1. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on behalf of a business customer, the Data Processing Agreement applies.
13.2. We do not store the queries you submit for a leak check on our servers.
14. Amendments
14.1. We may amend these Terms. The current version is always available on the Site and takes effect once published, unless the new version states otherwise. For material changes that affect your rights or ongoing paid Plans, we will give reasonable advance notice — for example by email or a notice in the Service interface.
14.2. If you do not agree with an amendment, you must stop using the Service. Continued use after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Suspension & Termination
15.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for a breach of these Terms or where required by law.
15.2. You may stop using the Service and delete your Account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8–11) will continue to apply.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
16.1. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16.2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction where you are established to protect our rights.
16.3. If you are a consumer, nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, or of your right to bring or defend proceedings in the courts of that country.
17. General Provisions
17.1. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the invalid provision is deemed replaced by a valid one that most closely reflects its intent.
17.2. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the DPA (where applicable) and any terms shown in the Service interface, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
17.3. No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
17.4. Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to a successor of the business.
17.5. Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
17.6. Notices. We may give notices via the Service interface or the email address linked to your Account. You may contact us using the details in Section 18.
